PINK TURNS BLUE - post-punk/darkwave legends live

Pink Turns Blue returns to the stage as one of the first confirmed headliners for Obsidian Echoes 2026. The German band from Cologne, active since 1985, is one of the most important protagonists of the European post-punk and darkwave scene. With their characteristic sound of dark bass lines, atmospheric guitars and emotionally charged vocals, they have built up a large international fan base over the decades.

Their music explores melancholic themes such as emotional alienation, longing and introspective reflection - live, Pink Turns Blue create a dense, haunting atmosphere that delights old fans and fascinates new listeners alike. NIGHT IN ATHENS - Dark synth & coldwave from London

Also confirmed is the Night in Athens project, which enriches the line-up with its mixture of dark synth, coldwave and dark electronic sound aesthetics. Behind Night in Athens is the Greek artist Tina Boleti, who has been known for her hypnotic synth textures, minimalist arrangements and haunting vocals since her work in London.

Night in Athens combines classic elements of coldwave with modern electronics, creating a unique sound that has both introspective depth and club-ready energy. Their performance at Obsidian Echoes strengthens the musical spectrum of the festival and appeals to fans of experimental, dark electronics.
