Karsten Strack, the artistic director of the Literaturbüro OWL, will once again be offering regular consultation hours for authors in 2026, during which authors from the region can seek advice.

Karsten Strack has been a publisher, cultural event organizer, and lecturer on creative writing and publishing at various universities for many years, and is an author himself.

He is happy to provide answers and suggestions on topics such as: “How can I pitch my manuscript to a publisher or literary agency as effectively as possible?” “Could self-publishing be a good option for me?” “What should I keep in mind when it comes to editing?”, “Where and in what form should I make public appearances?”, and “As an author, how can I generally increase my visibility?”

The consultation hours are offered both online via the “Zoom” platform and in person at Haus Münsterberg in Detmold.
