By torchlight, you will walk through the old ironworks in the Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park. Learn from the knowledgeable tour guides how things were done back then.

The tour places a special focus on industrial history. Where workers high up in the cutting wind filled the boiling blast furnace or down below, protected only by a hat and gloves, broke open the tapping hole, there was hellish noise, poisonous gases and sticky dust that ate into the lungs. This tour is also a reminder of this.

Torches are provided on loan for the duration of the tour.

The tour is not barrier-free.

Children: During the torchlight tour, children aged 12 and over will only receive a torch if they are accompanied by at least one adult per child.
