Learn the basic steps and background knowledge of traditional Greek dances with the Griechenhaus Leipzig.
Discover the world of Greek dances in a relaxed atmosphere! In this open dance course, you will learn simple and lively step sequences - from the lively Hassaposervikos to the mythical "Dance of Theseus". The dance course is led and accompanied by Rolf-Michael Turek and the dance team of the German-Greek Society "Griechenhaus Leipzig" e.V.
You don't need any previous knowledge, just a love of movement and dancing together.
This will be followed by a performance of the dance piece LASKARINES by Vasiliki Bara.
