Öffentliche Begleitung durch die Ausstellung "Tränenpalast. Ort der deutschen Teilung"

The permanent exhibition at the Tränenpalast, the former departure hall at the Friedrichstraße border crossing, uses biographical examples and original artifacts to show how the division of Germany affected people’s lives. With our guided tour, you’ll explore the most important themes and historical traces: How did people from the GDR manage to escape or leave for the West? What experiences did travelers from the East and West have while going through customs at the Tränenpalast? What memories do you personally associate with this historic site?

To mark the 65th anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall, we are offering a public guided tour at 3:00 p.m. 
Please register at the information desk in the exhibition before the tour begins. Space is limited.
