We take you on a tour through our exhibitions on site! Experienced art educators will give you an introduction to the exhibition "BUT ME | THE WORLD | I SEE | YOU as part of the 9th Triennial of Photography 2026".
In the context of the Triennial of Photography, the exhibition BUT ME | THE WORLD | I SEE | YOU presents works by 40 international artists of different generations. They all show folds in the content of photographs: details that reveal something about an image and each time expose the historical sediments. In cooperation with the International Summer Festival 2026 at Kampnagel, the Hamburger Kunsthalle presents Nan Goldin's iconic slide show The Ballad of Sexual Dependency from its collection as well as performances by the dancer and choreographer Xavier Le Roy.
Participation: 6 € plus admission. Available in advance.
Meeting point: Foyer Galerie der Gegenwart In addition to the event ticket, you will need a valid admission ticket for the Hamburger Kunsthalle.
