The Surpriser Stage Company from Hanover with its front woman Monika Tschosek will be performing in Bad Nenndorf for the first time: on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 7:30 pm in the Bistro of the Wandelhalle Bad Nenndorf.

What doesn't a woman do for her own salvation? Even if it hurts: she even gives up her beloved high heels for a pilgrimage and doesn't shy away from slipping into clunky hiking boots. Because this insight is a must:
You can't walk the Way of St. James in high heels.

Monika Tschosek actually walked it in 2016 and left her high heels at home in the wardrobe. She walked for 25 days from Leon to Santiago de Compostela. She has creatively processed her experiences in the stage play "Without High Heels on the Way of St. James": a somewhat different pilgrimage report with dance and comedy, which premiered in 2017 and was published in book form in 2018.

Which already says a little about Tschosek: the Hanoverian is an entertainer, actress, comedy award winner, choreographer, model coach and author. Now she and her team of artists are coming to the Wandelhalle Bad Nenndorf for the first time with a guest performance.
