The organic farmers' market takes place every Friday afternoon from 12 noon on Cathedral Square in Münster. The market closes at 5.30 pm. The organizer is the association "Ökologischer Bauernmarkt Münster e.V.".
The organic farmers' market mainly offers organically produced products. You can buy many foodstuffs for your daily needs, i.e. vegetables, fruit and potatoes, dairy products and cheese, eggs, meat and sausage, bread and baked goods and much more.
You can also buy specialties at the organic farmers' market that are not available everywhere, for example
- Sheep and goat cheese specialties from the farm's own cheese dairies and sheepskins
- Plants from the Münsterland region in summer
- Bread made from regional grain
- Seasonal vegetable rarities such as Jerusalem artichokes or turnips
