The fact that a giant of thought like Olaf Schubert knows the answer to every question is considered elementary school knowledge. But now Schubert is taking the next big step. He is asking questions. Important questions, like the one - "Now or now?". In other words, a question that asks questions itself. The fact that the tail bites into the face is the artist's very own concern.
As if by chance, he created a program title with an international sound with this question. This shows that Schubert is now multilingual - if not bilingual. Having reached the top of the iceberg of globalization, everything is now open to him. The whole world. Nevertheless, this exceptional artist remains loyal to us, because he also gives concerts in Germany, not many, but still around 745. This shows that he has managed to do what only a few succeed in doing, remaining down-to-earth despite his gigantic success. He wants to be an Olaf you can touch. Unfortunately, however, hardly anyone does, as he recently confessed to a major news magazine. On stage, Schubert once again completely reinvents himself and that is exactly why he remains the same. He consistently goes his own way, but is not one to cross red lines. No - he undermines them. On the other hand, he crosses yellow lines. This enables him to push boundaries, even invisible ones, in all directions at the same time.
How he achieves this, he probably doesn't know himself. But watching him do it during his show is fascinating, because even this or that flax rocket is ignited in the process.
That's why almost everyone (even his grandma) who has ever had the chance to see him live is simply deeply moved: Thank you, Olaf!
