Live radio play freely adapted from Karl May.
A gang is spreading fear and terror in the Llano Estacado: the coyotes. When Old Shatterhand and his companion Sam Hawkens come across a stagecoach, the two Westmen pick up the bandits' trail. A chase begins across the west of the USA, in which the hunters soon become the hunted. And the coyotes aren't just after fat prey...
Hardy Krüger Jr. plays the leading role of Old Shatterhand, Volker Zack is the cutter and Luna Schweiger plays Emily Milton. Together with other actors, they take on a total of twelve roles. The star of the evening, however, is the foley artist. Together they create an exciting adventure full of suspense, pace and atmosphere.
A real "road movie for the eyes and ears", thrilling right up to the big showdown. Karl May has been one of the classics of adventure literature for over 120 years - this production continues his tradition and combines cinema in the mind with the magic of the stage.
