In the organizer's words:
Locked up for 15 years, 5 days for revenge: For no apparent reason, businessman Oh Dae-su is kidnapped and locked in a windowless room. His only contact with the outside world is a television, through which he learns one day from the news that his wife has been murdered and that he is being held responsible. After 15 long years in complete isolation, Oh Dae-su is suddenly released into freedom. In search of answers, he swears revenge on his tormentors.
