Olga Reznichenko Trio

Pianist Olga Reznichenko is one of the new discoveries at the Bonn Jazz Festival. Trained in Rostov-on-Don and with Richie Beirach and Michael Wollny in Leipzig, she is currently taking the European scene by storm. With intuitive playing bursting with energy, she explores extremes with relish, from destructive impulsiveness to peaceful introspection. In her trio, which was nominated for the German Jazz Award in 2023, Reznichenko combines complex harmonic and rhythmic structures with minimalist textures and accessible melodies. An advanced mix of power play and pop song, of Russian late romanticism, hymnic pads and hypnotic patterns - linked by the bracket of the modern jazz idiom.

In the summer of 2023, she brought the Jazzfest Bonn audience to the brink of ecstasy as the front woman of the Prince Experience with the WDR Big Band. Now LiV Warfield is coming back to rock the Pantheon with her latest album The Edge. As a solo artist, the former singer of Prince & The New Power Generation thrills with an energetic stage performance and her powerful soul voice. From precise to laid-back and relaxed, she brings the funk home with her songs. With driving rhythms and powerful guitar riffs, she expands her sound in the direction of rock and alternative. Music as intense as a life on the edge of the abyss.
