Dittrich, four-time Grimme Prize winner, trained theater painter, composer, lyricist and multi-instrumentalist (over two million records sold), is a master of transformation. He is regarded as one of the best contemporary creators of artistic characters - his films, TV formats and satires have received countless national and international nominations and awards. With his most famous character "Dittsche" (SZ: "Germany's last folk hero"), Dittrich, who celebrated his 50th stage anniversary in 2024, can be seen regularly on a major tour of Germany. The always sold-out, almost three-hour solo program was awarded the LEA Award.
