Since forming in 2017 in a shed in their hometown, the band Omar Dahl has created a unique blend of East and West. The band embodies this intercultural spirit, combining electronic grooves with traditional instruments such as violin, saxophone and ney. Influenced by artists such as Kerala Dust and Altin Gün, Omar Dahl's music blends downtempo house with Eastern melodies, creating a sound that is equally at home in dark clubs and sunny festivals. Their worldwide travels, from Saudi Arabia to Mexico, have enriched this fusion, fusing sensual rhythms with driving beats. In 2025 they released Traum, their third EP and first collaboration with Berlin label Laut & Luise. Characterized by percussion and organic rhythms, the EP explores the border area between consciousness and dreams.
