Omniversal Earkestra - every Monday!

For 14 years, the Omniversal Earkestra has been performing its ritual - free, raw and energetic - every Monday.
Jazz has always been the music of an oppressed minority - and always will be, even if the bourgeoisie claim it for themselves. It is precisely this spirit that characterizes the Earkestra. Materialism is not everything, individuality and belonging to a group need not be a contradiction in terms. Harmonies and dissonances are created by the vibrations of the individuals in the group and are not dictated by one side, because there is no harmony instrument in the band.
With the wild 13 of the Earkestra, something completely new is created every Monday. Their music is built on the pillars of Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Sun Ra, Duke Ellington and the band's own songs as well as the repertoire of Afrobeat and West African music.
The Sonnenraum is the church of these Monday masses - a place for free sounds, collective energy and musical ecstasy.
