ONe by ONE // Agata Kycia & Jakob Drömmer

In the organizer's words:

One by One brings together architect-artists Agata Kycia and Jakob Drömmer in a joint exhibition that explores meditative handwork at the intersection of craft and digital thinking. Their works, presented side by side, demonstrate a deep commitment to repetition, materiality and spatial perception.

Agata shows embroidery, linocut and screen printing, where thread, cut and print become rhythmic, meditative gestures. Her works transform recurring forms into structured, tactile objects that react to light and shadow and lend flat surfaces a silent, three-dimensional presence.

Jakob creates large-format wooden reliefs from numerous hand-painted elements that are assembled like mosaics or puzzles. Different depths and layering give his works a strong spatial effect and emphasize process, repetition and craftsmanship.

The exhibition title One by One refers to both the dialog between two distinct artistic voices and the shared meditative, repetitive nature of their work, demonstrating how meticulous, hand-crafted processes transform simple gestures into complex, immersive experiences.
