Preach and Abla 101 are bringing FEMINIST BAD [B]ASS back to the stage: a series that has been opening up spaces that are still rare in Hamburg's club scene for years. With a sound between RnB, pop and hip hop, the format connects the local queer-feminist, non-white scene with international artists - consistently, in solidarity, loud and with a clear attitude. At a time when the club scene is becoming increasingly stale, FEMINIST BAD(B)ASS remains an important, gritty antithesis - raw, lively, resistant. Sex-positive, queer, feminist, non-white: the format stands for positions that are still underrepresented, but remain necessary for precisely this reason. Preach and Abla 101 curate, host, celebrate - and create a space in which we think globally, act locally, take up space. And have fun.
