One Nation Ramadan Bazaar in Wachtberg: A weekend full of encounters, culture and enjoyment

Wachtberg - This year's One Nation Ramadan Bazaar will take place at the Köllenhof cultural center in Wachtberg on Saturday, 31 January 2026 and Sunday, 1 February 2026. The event invites visitors from the region to a special weekend dedicated to diversity, community and cultural exchange. Admission is free.
Marwa El Kurdi from Wachtberg is organizing this event for the fourth year in a row and has thus created a permanent platform for encounters, cultural diversity and social commitment. The importance of the bazaar is now also recognized at a local level. Lord Mayor Swen Christian acknowledges the commitment with the words:
"After the third time, this bazaar is a Wachtberg tradition."
The Ramadan Bazaar offers a wide range of products: from handmade works of art, traditional and modern clothing, accessories and decorative items to individual gift ideas, numerous exhibitors present their products. The offer is complemented by book and information stands as well as culinary specialties such as dates, honey and oriental spices. A henna artist offers artistic designs that can be tried out on site.
The cafeteria invites you to linger with coffee, cake and traditional dishes and offers space for encounters, conversations and communal interaction.
The Ramadan Bazaar sees itself as a platform where small businesses and creative talents can present their work. At the same time, the event provides an opportunity to learn more about Ramadan and the festival of Eid al-Fitr. The aim is to connect people from different backgrounds and strengthen understanding and respect.
Ramadan begins in 2026 on Ash Wednesday, February 18, and thus coincides with the Christian fasting period. This simultaneous start of two important religious fasting periods underlines the common spiritual values of reflection, compassion and cohesion - across cultural and religious boundaries.

All citizens are cordially invited to visit the bazaar - regardless of origin, faith or background.
