ONKeL fISCH "Hoffnung – ein Serviervorschlag" (Kabarett & Satire)
In the organizer's words:
ONKeL fISCH are the beacons of hope in the German satire scene. And wherever they go, they bring hope with them. Their motto: You can always despair. It’s far too easy to rant about everything: climate change, war, prices, the AfD, Berlin, Donald Trump, or Germany’s current entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Constantly bombarded by doomsayers and spin doctors, many people already feel like they’re standing on the brink of the abyss. Maybe so, but the view is best from the edge of the abyss. Ultimately, most things are a matter of perspective. Whether the glass is half full or half empty doesn’t really matter. What’s more important: We’ve got something to drink!
These two fitness fanatics spread hope wherever they can. And they do it their way: with fun, singing, and dancing—all at “German speed” and in slow motion. Modern cabaret that’ll have you rolling with laughter, navigating the space between expectations and attitudes. Sure, Heiner Müller once said: “Optimism is just a lack of information.” But you have to add: “So is pessimism!”
ONKeL fISCH are on a hopeful satirical mission across the entire country to strengthen people’s mental defenses. And it’s pretty funny!
