Open-Air Movie Theater at Denkwerk Herford

Open-air movies, balmy summer evenings, and really great food—on August 14 and 15, 2026, the parking lot at Denkwerk Herford will become an open-air movie theater for the first time. 

Look forward to two movie highlights—doors open at 7 p.m. each night:

🎬 Friday, Aug. 14: “The Devil Wears Prada 2” | 119 min.
The cult comedy packed with fashion, humor, and legendary moments—the perfect feel-good movie for a summer evening.

🎬 Saturday, August 15: “Extrawurst” | 98 min.
A wonderfully sharp comedy starring Hape Kerkeling, Christoph Maria Herbst, Anja Knauer, and Nilam Farooq, which humorously shows how a small club discussion turns into a big story.

Of course, we’ve got you covered when it comes to food and drinks: Look forward to pizza, pasta, burgers, ice cream, crêpes, popcorn, as well as cold soft drinks, beer, wine, and other refreshments!

Payment: For maximum flexibility, you can pay conveniently in cash or by card.

Parking (with security):

• Car: Sparkasse Herford parking lot—Engerstraße 19 (about an 8-minute walk via Uhlandstraße)—please do not park around the Denkwerk.
• Bicycle: Bicycle parking lot—Wellbrocker Weg (directly across from the entrance)
