The film is presented by SEA EYE Nuremberg and E.F.I.E. – the volunteer refugee support group in Erlangen.
There will be information booths, and we’ll host a Q&A session with the audience after the film.

Germany stands at a historic turning point: For the first time since 1945, a resolution on migration policy is adopted by the Bundestag in 2025—with the support of the AfD, a party classified as far-right by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. The declaration on limiting immigration calls for, among other things, a complete closure of Germany’s borders. A paradigm shift is on the horizon: away from protecting refugees, toward isolation and deterrence.

Open-Air Movie Night in the Garden

When the sun slowly sets in the summer and the air is still warm, it’s finally time for open-air cinema in the E‑Werk garden. Grab your favorite people, lean back in a lounge chair, and enjoy movies in a relaxed atmosphere under the starry sky. 

Unless otherwise noted, we show all films in the German dubbed version. Look forward to a lovingly curated mix of timeless classics and arthouse gems.  
 
The garden opens at 6 p.m.—perfect for arriving early, taking a deep breath, and getting in the mood. As soon as the sun goes down, your movie experience begins. 

We’ve got everything you need to go with it: cool drinks and really great fries to make your summer evening complete.
