This French adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's crime thriller "The Ta lented Mr. Ripley" sends the swindler, conman and forger Tom Ripley - played by the young Alain Delon - on the trail of the rich US American heir Philippe Greenleaf, who is sailing through Europe for the summer. Tom makes it into his inner circle, but it soon becomes clear that no one is safe on the open sea.
