Like Mint has poetry on her mind: the Berliner-by-choice from the Erzgebirge carries her songs across the country, their subtle truthfulness making entire rooms float. It is a gentle, sincere melancholy that makes these songs between indie folk and songwriter intimacy so touching. In the encounter with the audience, this creates a conversation that leaves room for the listener, with
wonderful songs that Like Mint sings in a great balance between heartfelt emotion and enchanting discretion.
The melancholy is not deeply sad, but somehow refreshing, hence the name.
