In the workshop, we use memes to make our own perspectives visible, formulate messages clearly and consciously work with humor in digital communication. We take care to respect boundaries and avoid creating offensive or discriminatory content. Participants will actively develop their own memes, collect image ideas, formulate apt statements and design them using simple digital tools, before reflecting on their impact and responsibility in an exchange.

Workshop leader:

• Petra Anders was awarded the Communicator Prize for outstanding science communication in 2025; the Tagesspiegel ranks her among the "100 most important minds in Berlin science". She has been a professor at Humboldt University since 2018 and conducts participatory research on the question of how we can learn meaningfully with and from each other. She has developed approaches for children, young people and adults to the poetry slam, meme culture, poetry and film.
