In the organizer's words:

A singing competition with a guarantee of fun: In the Singers' War, candidates in the best of moods fight for the golden trophy. And with all the means of art! The singers have 90 seconds to present their aria or song. 90 seconds to win the favor of the audience. 90 seconds that decide about victory or defeat. Because you choose the winner! A decibel meter measures the strength of your applause.

The fun goes over several rounds. Each round has a theme to which the singers choose a piece to match. "Wilde Weiber - coole Kerle", "Total verknallt" or "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten" are some of the categories in which the singing athletes compete.

And to really get you in the mood, you can also win a few shots - if you know which opera an aria was from or who composed the piece. Sometimes an original answer is enough. The whole thing is whimsically moderated and creates the best atmosphere.

The professional opera singers of our ensemble compete against each other for your pleasure. All of them are young, fresh and touching voices.
