Richard Strauss' and Hugo von Hofmannsthal's "Der Rosenkavalier" is a musical and linguistic masterpiece. Time and again, this opera fascinates audiences and arouses anticipation for the staged production. If you don't want to wait until the premiere and are interested in exciting background information about the staging and rehearsal process, the Opera Café is the place to be. Not only will the production team present their work in conversation with dramaturge Dr. Waltraut Anna Lach, but you will also hear some musical samples - not least from our new General Music Director Gabriel Feltz on the grand piano.
