Performance by Caner Akdeniz
What happens when it's not people who take on the task of parenting, but a media device? A conventional television, but for some of us it was much more than that: best friend, babysitter and, time and again, a substitute parent in our younger years. With the performance ORAKEL, Caner Akdeniz embarks on a film-historical journey and attempts to immerse himself in a collective memory using formative blockbuster titles from the 1980s to the early 2000s.
