With 𝑀𝑢𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑗𝑎 (release date: 11.10.2024), 𝑶𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒔𝒊 𝑷𝒂𝒛𝒖𝒛𝒖 enter new, even darker territory. The Finnish band is known for its idiosyncratic blend of black metal, psychedelic, industrial and noise - a sound that is less a genre than a state of mind.
On Muuntautuja, this approach is consistently continued: floating drones, alien rhythms, feverish soundscapes - like a trip through the inner life of an alien planet.

On 14.10.2025, 𝑶𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒔𝒊 𝑷𝒂𝒛𝒖𝒛𝒖𝒖 will bring this new material live to the stage of UT Connewitz - a place that, with its special aura, creates exactly the space in which this music can breathe: raw, dense, otherworldly.
Anyone who knows the band knows that their live shows feel like rituals. Hypnotic, intense, unpredictable.

The band consists of musicians who have been working at the intersection of metal, avant-garde and psychedelic music for years. Since their debut Muukalainen puhuu (2009), they have broken new ground with every album - at the latest with Värähtelijä (2016) and Mestarin kynsi (2020), it became clear that they had created something completely unique: Music like a dark ritual, electrified and deformed.
With Muuntautuja, Oranssi Pazuzu continue on their uncompromising path - and Leipzig will experience an evening that is not only loud, but above all transformative.

When Oranssi Pazuzu unleash their cosmic black metal vortex, the support band comes with no less gravity: healthyliving. The trio with roots in Edinburgh, Dresden and Madrid has developed from an intimate artistic friendship to an international insider tip in a very short space of time.

Their debut album Songs of Abundance, Psalms of Grief has been showered with superlatives by the press: Stereogum calls them "one hell of a band", Metal Hammer attests to music that "nourishes pulse, mind and soul", and Sputnik Music rejoices at "the joy of having found a band whose music is special from the first to the last note". From The Quietus to Invisible Oranges, from Bandcamp to BBC Radio, healthyliving are appearing on leaderboards and in anthems that very few debut bands ever achieve.

Live, the band has left its mark on the stages of Roadburn, ArcTanGent, Summer Dying Loud or as support for Explosions in the Sky - always with that pull of dark shoegaze, atmospheric alt-rock and an emotional force that cannot be pigeonholed.

The fact that Amaya López-Carromero, also known as Maud the Moth, raises her voice here is that little bit extra: an artistic spark that makes the sound of healthyliving unmistakable.
