ORBIT XI: Mercedes Theresia Wagner Romero & Anna Kebe

In the organizer's words:

Wagner Romero is interested in taking a look at the everyday and questioning supposedly immovable definitions. This includes, for example, the naming of places and countries, which often carry colonialist pasts within them and can thus perpetuate them. Her artistic practice can be described as object-based, installative with documentary elements. Anna Kebe, a photography student, is exhibiting alongside her. Kebe is currently working with human medical specimens, which she enlarges and transfers. Time and transience are themes that Kebe focuses on.
