Organ Demonstration and Organ Workshop for Children Ages 8 to 14

The organ is considered the “Queen of Instruments.” Behind the majestic sound of our Queen Catherine Organ lies a marvel of engineering. The children will learn about this during a children’s organ tour at the start of the afternoon; afterward, they’ll become organ builders themselves and work together to assemble the most important parts of a small organ. Children who play the piano are welcome to bring a short piece to try out on the finished organ.
