Smoke twins Elijah and Elias, both played by Michael B. Jordan, want to make a fresh start in familiar territory. So they leave their previous lives behind and return to their old home in Mississippi. But anything but a quiet life awaits them there: Apparently, vampires have made themselves at home in the area. Who can the brothers still trust? And what plans are Mary and Remmick pursuing? For all those who don't yet have sharp teeth, the situation is becoming increasingly precarious...
