The scent of spring and a sea of color at the Easter and flower market

Tulips, daffodils, crocuses and hyacinths -

On Saturday, April 19, the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald once again invites you to the Easter and flower market on the historic market square. Visitors can look forward to a lovingly decorated spring market with a diverse and attractive range of plants, flower arrangements, ceramics and handicrafts.

Around 70 exhibitors will be presenting their products from 10:00 to 17:00. An Easter bunny will surprise the little ones with sweets. They can let off steam on the bouncy castle or on the climbing wall.

Several florists from Greifswald and Western Pomerania will be selling fresh flowers, early bloomers and planted bowls to get you in the mood for the Easter holidays. In addition, countless artisans and ceramicists offer their wares for sale. The offer ranges from utility ceramics and jewelry to basketry, wood and straw work. Handmade Easter eggs using the wax-bossing technique are also a must.

Specialties from our own production such as honey, oils, liqueurs or spreads and chutneys can be tasted and purchased at numerous stands. Hungry visitors can try dishes with the first herbs, specialties from the charcoal grill, soups or home cooking.

A colorful show and entertainment program awaits guests throughout the day .
