From Friday to Sunday, 4 to 6 April, the traditional Easter market will once again offer a varied program in the city centre with an arts and crafts and fabric market, Sunday shopping and a children's program.

The Easter market will take place from April 4 to 6, 2025.

At the 23rd Easter market, guests can expect a large selection of handicrafts, textiles, gift ideas and culinary delights at 70 stands.

Open Sunday and fabric market

On Sunday, April 6, the stores in the historic pentagon will be open from 1 pm to 6 pm. The Easter market on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm is complemented by the fabric market on the Dern'schen grounds. Here you will find more than 100 stalls with a huge selection of fabrics and sewing accessories.

Children's program

On Sunday, Mauritiusplatz will be firmly in the hands of children from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: two children's carousels await the little guests - and there is another one at the Luisenforum. Face painting and the Biberbau with its wooden spinning top workshop will also provide plenty of fun. Colorful, springtime stilt and Easter bunny walk acts with sweet surprises also await visitors.

Premiere: free ring shuttle

A new feature is a ring shuttle bus for visitors to the city center on shopping Sunday. The service is free of charge. The shuttle bus runs from 12.30 to 18.30 during the opening hours of the stores in an approximately 20-minute loop around and through the historic pentagon. It takes you from the city and private parking lots in the city center to stops marked as such and then takes you back to your vehicle with your purchases.

Free use of bus & train

To make longer journeys to the Sunday shopping event stress-free and climate-friendly, the Mayor's Department is financing the free use of buses and trains throughout the city of Wiesbaden. Anyone coming to the Easter market by bike in a sustainable and climate-friendly way can park their bike in the bicycle garage on the Dern'schen site: The garage is guarded free of charge during the event.

Rad+ milestone event on Sunday

The 1.5 million kilometers have been exceeded, now we are on our way to 1,555,000 kilometers together! The Environmental Agency and Scholz & Volkmer are inviting users of the DB "Rad+" app and all interested parties to celebrate reaching this milestone on Sunday, April 6, from 14 to 18 at the Campus Ehemalige Städtische Kliniken, Schwalbacher Straße 72.

At the hands-on workshop, you can get your bike in shape for the summer. You can also look forward to a small flea market, high-quality goodies from Rad+ and delicious cakes and drinks. You can also pay with kilometers. With the "DB Rad+ App", you can make a contribution to climate protection and a future transport infrastructure.
