"Our Son" is an incredibly cleverly made, intimate, poetic, humorous and sometimes tragic play about parents who simply cannot find a way to accept their gay son's identity.
The 30-year-old director Patrik Lazić, one of the most talented theater makers of the younger generation, developed the autobiographically influenced play for the Belgrade production house Heartefact. In a subtle play with fiction and reality, Lazić shares the process of emancipation with the audience.
