True to their primary reverence for Seattle sound acts a la Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Nirvana, PACESHIFTERS have always created their songs from a live perspective. For their latest album "Out-and-Outer", however, the alternative rock trio opted for the opposite approach. Perhaps even a somewhat daring choice for a band that has been on the road for more than 15 years and has built up a stable fan base primarily through their brilliant live shows at a high-energy level. "Out-and-Outer" should now be different. "An album that you should listen to more often, on which you discover something new every time," says the band. Stadium rock charm flirts with shoegaze and post-punk. Rough, overwhelming and catchy at the same time. Thematically borne by change and transience, grief and self-destruction. Of course, PACESHIFTERS continue to rock every stage live. Driven by pure enthusiasm, uncompromising dedication and lots of fun.
