On August 2, 2025, we are bringing the Palmlands Open Air Festival to Dortmund Harbour!
Together with the Dortmund Film Nights, we are transforming the area around the Quartiershalle into a unique festival spot - an urban and tropical summer paradise right on Dortmund's harbor.

🔊 Tech House / Techno meets art, colors & a sense of freedom - in the middle of Dortmund.
We have been working on it for a long time and now we are presenting our festival concept for the first time in this impressive location.

🍹 The first 100 visitors can look forward to a free vodka melon drink. Come early and get in the mood.

The area will be completely rebuilt and creatively restaged for the film nights - the Dortmund harbor will become a hotspot for music lovers and free spirits.

🏕️ Maybe a little drizzle here and there - but thanks to our covered areas, the atmosphere stays on point and the bass keeps rolling.

🧭 Access description:

Access is via the Dortmunder Hafen AG site, right next to the new port office. The entrance is clearly signposted - just follow the signs on site.

Arrival by public transport:
🚇 U47 to Schützenstraße, approx. 10 min. walk
🚌 Bus 412 to Goethestraße, approx. 5 minutes on foot

Arrival by car:
P+R Hafen 🅿️
If you are coming from the northeast via the A45 from Castrop-Rauxel/Recklinghausen, parking spaces are available at the Hafen parking lot on Speestraße.

Parking fees are 0.50 euros/hour. The maximum daily charge is 6 euros. From there it is a 5 minute walk.

We recommend traveling by public transport.
