Rooted between northern Hesse and the Rhineland, the singer-songwriter from Kassel makes music about what holds us together: real encounters, emotional work and the courage to allow closeness. In her songs, she celebrates the beauty of interpersonal relationships - and the trust that it is worth investing energy in people. She draws on her own experiences, reflects on vulnerability and strength, and finds a depth that touches.

PAO studied music and English to become a teacher and is now doing a doctorate in musicology. She has worked for many years as a musician, educator and mentor at the interface of art and education. Whether in bands such as Handsomest and Freckles, in the City Lights collective, as a solo artist or in her work with choirs and young musicians - she is at home wherever music connects people.

With her powerful voice, expressive lyrics and intuitive piano playing, she creates intimate, dense sound spaces live - direct, approachable, atmospheric."I find nothing more beautiful than connecting people through my music," she says - and brings this sentence to life in every concert.

At the end of a short concert tour, this evening will be a special homecoming: a solo concert that brings together being on the road and celebrates everything that remains when music connects people.
