The third edition of paper positions vienna will take place fromNovember 12 to 15, 2026, in the impressive spaces of theSemper Depot(studio building of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna), located in the heart of Vienna!  

paper positionsis the only art fair where participating galleries present a broad spectrum of high-quality contemporary, modern, and 19th-century art, offering collectors a focused insight into this unique artistic medium. 

The aim is to provide these galleries and the artists they represent with a platform dedicated to the theme of drawing and the medium of paper, with all its specific characteristics, its fragility, and its enormous versatility. 

In keeping with its exhibition concept—which is tailored entirely to the often delicate exhibits and eschews traditional booths—paper positions vienna deliberately opts for a salon-like setting. Likewise, the limited number of galleries underscores the character of a major thematic exhibition. The spatial design offers visitors both an open overview and the opportunity to engage directly with individual works of art and experience them in a reciprocal dialogue. 

At the special booth of our partner Moleskine, visitors were invited to get creative themselves and produce their own drawings—spontaneous sketches, small works of art, or personal notes—all in the spirit of free artistic expression.
