par-ci, par-là - that is instrumental precision at the highest musical level, paired with unbridled joy of playing and a fearless reach into the cornucopia of musical treasures.

The four musicians shine with congenial adaptations from baroque to tango, from Bach to Lindenberg. Their sensual, gently flowing tango, musette and klezmer interpretations can suddenly change into a gripping rhythmic stomp, only to sink just as suddenly into touching melancholy and deep sensuality. The variety of instruments, played with virtuosity by experienced musicians, already gives an idea of the colorful sonority of the arrangements.

Holger-Arndt-Connexion (HAC)

Founded in 1998, HOLGER-ARNDT-CONNEXION is one of the hottest jazz groups in Erfurt and beyond. Under the direction of saxophonist Holger Arndt, the band has performed at numerous regional and international jazz festivals in addition to its own concerts.

Outstanding is the singer Kerstin Radtke, whose soulful voice blends perfectly with the highly professional sound of the band. The band's repertoire is constantly evolving and currently includes pieces by Liane Caroll, Randy Crawford and Stevie Wonder, among others. They also usually play traditional swing tunes, covers of soul, funk and Latin compositions or their own arrangements of The Beatles or even Jimy Hendrix.

This timeless mix of jazz, funk, soul, swing and rock and grooving cover versions of modern pieces and classics as well as the many genuine improvisation parts within the pieces makes the HOLGER-ARNDT-CONNEXION an indispensable jewel of the Erfurt music scene.
