Normally there are cars in Leipzig's parking lots. Empty cars parked between the street and the sidewalk for an average of 23 hours a day, blocking public space. On PARK(ing) Day , the streetscape looks different: Deckchairs, hammocks, picnic blankets, plants and sofas - instead of cars.
