An exhibition by students of the Choi class, ABK - Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart at Kunstverein Ludwigsburg

Under the title "Pars pro Toto", which literally means "a part for the whole", the exhibition brings together diverse positions and working methods. On display are sculptures, objects, videos, drawings, photographs and installations. Without following a predetermined theme, the students each present a section of their work and thus represent the diversity of the issues and artistic practices discussed in the Choi class.

Each work in the exhibition sees itself as part of a larger whole: A part refers to the whole, but at the same time it opens up its own spaces of meaning. This results in an invitation to take a closer look and think further, to recognize contrasts and neighbourhoods.
