Past Forward

In the organizer's words:

Past Forward

"Past Forward" is an installative radio play by sound artist Felix Mayer and writer Marie-Alice Schultz. A private apartment serves as the starting point for a general reflection on living and the origin of objects. The found furniture becomes a dialog partner that tells the audience its personal story. Acoustic by-products of everyday actions (the squeaking of doors, drawers, hinges and springs) complement the narrative.

Treated like instruments, the furniture itself is transformed into bodies of sound. A journey through the eras begins, anecdotes about supposed previous owners are scattered, alliances are forged in the spatial structure. Or was everything completely different?

The walk-in installation invites you to browse: What does a room reveal when the owner disappears from it?

The event will take place in a private living room in the Altona district. The exact address will be communicated to all ticket purchasers by email before the event.
