What will happen when 17 million orange-colored climate refugees roll into Germany in their caravans in the left lane due to rising sea levels? Will the Germans then be prepared to take in the much-loved Dutch?

"Die orangene Gefahr - Die Holländer kommen" is the first German-language program by Dutch cabaret artist Patrick Nederkoorn. The premiere was celebrated in spring 2022 at Haus der Springmaus in Bonn. It is an amusing and acerbic examination of the idiosyncrasies of our two nations and the topic of migration in the context of climate change. The program was nominated for the Prix Pantheon and won the Obernburger Mühlstein, the Comedian Jackpot, the Silver Reinheimer Satire Lion and the Second Prize of the Tuttlinger Krähe.
