What happens when the sea level rises and 17 million orange climate refugees roll across the border in their caravans? Will the Germans be prepared to suddenly take in their favorite vacation neighbors as roommates?

In his first German-language program, Dutch cabaret artist Patrick Nederkoorn poses precisely this question - and combines sharp-witted satire with disarming humour. "Die orangene Gefahr - Die Holländer kommen!" is a comical and at the same time acerbic examination of the peculiarities of both nations, of prejudices and clichés, of home, migration and climate change.

Nederkoorn brings together the lightness of Dutch humor and the directness of a carnival float - creating an evening that entertains and at the same time makes you think. Long known in the Netherlands, he took the cabaret stages here by storm with his German premiere at the Haus der Springmaus.

Winner of numerous awards - including the Obernburg Millstone, the Silver Reinheim Satire Lion and the Comedian Jackpot - Nederkoorn shows that political cabaret can not only be relevant, but above all damn funny.
