Break Room x Volksbank: Henrichshütte 

With our first public event, we aim to lay the groundwork for establishing electronic music events in Hattingen for the long term. As a small, nonprofit cultural association, this initiative stems purely from our love of music and our desire to inspire people here locally. Together with Volksbank as our partner and with support from the City of Hattingen, we have the ideal foundation to establish techno in Hattingen.

The LWL Museum Henrichshütte is Hattingen’s unofficial landmark and a relic of the Ruhr region’s industrial past. With its infrastructure, the Henrichshütte Blower Hall is the perfect venue, seamlessly blending Hattingen’s history with modern digital art and culture. 

We place great emphasis on quality and aim to create the highest-quality audiovisual experience possible. In addition to the sound system, the right lighting is crucial for setting the mood and complementing the music. We’re planning a live visual performance that will go hand in hand with the sound.  

Everyone is welcome here! No matter who you are or where you’re from, at our event we want to create a space where we can share our love of music and where you can just be yourself. Racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination has no place here.
