Paw Parade – Die Hunderunde für den guten Zweck

Hamburg is getting animal active: on September 28, 2024, the dog food brand Pedigree is inviting people to the first Paw Parade in Sternschanze to set an example for shelter dogs and promote adoptions. An estimated 80,000 dogs end up in German animal shelters every year - and every one of them deserves a loving home. Forevery participant,Pedigree will donate €50 to the German Animal Welfare Association.

Take part and do good
Whether you have your own four-legged friend or are a dog lover without a furry friend - everyone is welcome to take part in the Paw Parade. From 12:30 pm, Karo Beach in front of the Rindermarkthalle will be transformed into a place of solidarity for dogs in need. Guests can expect an exciting program: from information on adoption and dog ownership to free registration with FINDEFIX and personal advice from a dog groomer. Soccer legend Holger Stanislawski will also be there to sign 200 pet balls. There will also be lots of competitions and a photo box where you can immortalize yourself with your four-legged friend.

The "Silent Demo" for a good cause
The 2-kilometer dog walk through Sternschanze starts at 3 p.m. - without any loud music, but with a lot of heart for animal welfare. Together we want to set an example for all the dogs that are still waiting for a home. Pedigree will donate €50 to the German Animal Welfare Association forevery registeredparticipant, and there will also be the opportunity to donate directly on site.
