Pazifinista // Cactus Junges Theater

In the organizer's words:

Pazifinista returns to the Pumpenhaus - as part of a show. The award-winning production by Cactus was recently nominated for the Theatertreffen der Jugend in Berlin and has now made it into the interim selection of the 35th Bundestreffen Jugendclubs an Theatern. A jury of experts is now traveling to Münster to view the play. We are delighted for Cactus and are keeping our fingers crossed that Pazifinista will be invited to the club meeting in Oldenburg in October this year.

Using language and the body, the play explores the theme of violence between reality and utopia: What can a world without violence look like? Can it exist? The reality: increasing violence. The utopian idea: a violence-free life, a violence-free society. What would that look like? What are the possibilities - what are the limits? Do we want to be pacifinistas or do we need violence?
