🎬PEACEOF ART - The art of being loud!

3 metropolises. 42 artists. 1 Movement.

As part of Peace of Art, young people from Paris, New York and Berlin came together in 2024 to exchange ideas about art and get creative together. Over the course of several months, they created texts, beats and performances in workshops, studio sessions and intensive encounters in the respective cities, combining personal stories, social issues and global perspectives. Especially in these turbulent times, the project aims to build on the idea of using art - especially hip-hop and urban forms of expression - as a tool for dialog, empowerment and intercultural understanding. In addition, of course, not only have artistic works been produced, but sustainable connections have also been created.

Especially in today's deeply turbulent times, threatened by crises, wars and global uncertainties, such projects are more important than ever. It is essential to spotlight and shine a light on precisely these initiatives, as they create spaces that are otherwise often lacking. Art - especially hip-hop and urban forms of expression - serves here as a powerful tool for dialog, empowerment and intercultural understanding.
