Ballet by Edward Clug
The young man Peer Gynt plunges into his fantasies to escape reality. His journey of self-discovery takes him through fairytale landscapes - from the Norwegian mountains to the realm of the trolls and the Arabian desert. Renowned choreographer Edward Clug weaves music, storytelling and dance into a captivating work of art in his narrative ballet. The Niedersächsisches Staatsorchester accompanies the scene, including the most famous parts of Edvard Grieg's atmospheric Peer Gynt incidental music.
