Thomas Putze is coming to Hamburg for a performance.
On the occasion of the exhibition LOST AND FOUND - Matthias Garff, Thomas Putze has developed a performance on the theme of the exhibition. He takes up the biblical story of the prodigal son, who returns home repentant after a dissolute lifestyle and is mercifully taken in by his father. The story is about rich and poor, lost and found, freedom and bondage, envy and forgiveness. Thomas Putze traces the ambivalences of the parable and finds impressive images for it.
He returns to the gallery at 6 pm for the main act of the performance. In the parable, the father has the recovered son clothed in precious garments and throws a party for him. Support the performance if you feel like it and dress up too. We cordially invite you to become part of this special artistic moment.
Thomas Putze continues to delight his audience with unusual performance art. He is a wood sculptor, draughtsman and musician. In his performances, he combines everything into a complete work of art. We can be curious!
